Lud's cajun heart and his love of culinary arts led up to the beloved product of Lud's Sauce in 1990. Lud loved to barbecue with his special sauce when attending livestock shows. While serving others his delicious food, people began to notice and talk about how great the sauce made the food taste.
Lud’s Sauce had become a local favorite and such a hit! With the multitude of requests for Lud’s Sauce, Lud and Theresa decided to make their hobby a business. Lud and Theresa, along with their ten children, began the journey to become an official LLC product and make Lud’s Sauce a national treasure. It began to soar in sales until 2005 when Hurricane Rita hit. The storm was devastating and completely took the business to ground zero.

However, with the love and support of God, family, and friends, Lud's Sauce, LLC was able to fight through adversity and rise back on their feet. It is now up and running at a permitted processing plant in Allen Parish, making Lud’s Sauce ready to serve all by enabling distribution of this delicious sauce!!! Lud and Theresa want to thank all the good people selling and buying Lud’s Sauce, without your support and the guidance of God, their dream would not be a reality!!!
